Max Verstappen’s Car Collection: What Does The Two-Time F1 Champion Drive?

Red Bull F1 driver, Max Verstappen, has just won his second World Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix last weekend.

Although Verstappen keeps his head down off the track, his car collection is pretty impressive. With connections through Red Bull, like the Aston Martin’s that he is given, and his $53.5 million deal with the team obviously helps him pad his car collection out.

Here is a look at some of his insane car collection from over the years.

Aston Martin Vantage

With Verstappen’s love of F1, it is not surprising that his collection consists of many high-performance cars, with the 2018 Vantage being one of them. The V8 provides 503 bhp and has a maximum speed of 195 mph. It has a 0-62 mph time of 3.6 seconds and has a high-end luxury interior.

Honda NSX

Verstappen upgraded his Honda Civic Type R to the NSX and told fans at the time that he planned to give all proceeds from the sale of the Civic Type R to the Wings for Life non-profit foundation.

The Dutchman must have been happy with the NSX as he is rumoured to have gifted one to his Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez, for Christmas.

Ferrari Monza SP2

This may seem like sacrilege when one of Red Bull’s main rivals is Ferrari, but it is easy to see how Verstappen wouldn’t have been able to resist the Monza SP2. The V12 engine produces 810 horsepower and has a maximum speed over 186 mph. The Monza is part of the ‘Icon’ concept from Ferrari so you can actually only purchase one if you are already a client or collector of Ferraris.

Renault R.S.01

It is clear to see that Verstappen is an adrenaline junkie, with all of his cars being extremely fast. Whether or not they feel fast to him as an F1 champion is another matter though.

The Renault R.S.01 has a 3.8-litre VR38DETT twin-turbocharges V6 engine which provides 550 horsepower and has a maximum speed over 186 mph. Verstappen reportedly purchased the car back in 2016 after he had the opportunity to drive it at the launch.

Aston Martin DB11

Another Aston Martin in Verstappen’s collection is the DB11 which is the most powerful and efficient ‘DB’ model that Aston Martin have made. Its V8 engine provides 528 horsepower and can go from 0-62 mph in just 4 seconds.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

We clearly have a supercar lover on our hands here with another in the collection in the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

The 911 GT3 RS has a maximum speed of 198 mph and can go from 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. Porsche said that they were ramping up the performance, tuning and aerodynamics in the GT3 when they brought out the concept, which could be why Verstappen wanted to add one to his collection.

Aston Martin Valkyrie

Ending things on probably the most exiting part of Verstappen’s collection with the Aston Martin Valkyrie. It seems like a no-brainer when you think about it, it’s a racing car for the road… it just makes sense!

The Valkyrie is powered by the naturally-aspirated Cosworth V12 engine and an electric motor, similar to that of an F1 car. The Valkyrie has an astonishing 1,160 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque.
